Radio Removal / Installation

The image shown on this page is copied from the Ford service manual.  I recommend using a quality set of the removal tools.  The good ones have a ball on the end and click in to place.  Some of the cheaper ones have flat ends and don't seem to work as well.  My advice when removing your radio....be patient.  You can damage the radio if not done properly.  The plastic on these radios is getting up there in age and have spent it's life outside, so it is fragile and will crack if you're not careful.
